We celebrated Hannah's 9th birthday with family and friends on Sunday evening. It started to rain about an hour before the party was to start of course, and I was thinking that we would have to do the party inside, which is not so much fun to cram everyone in our house. By 6pm it had cleared up and we had a great evening outside. We grilled brats and hot dogs and had lots of other yummy food. We sang Happy Birthday to Hannah and she took a long time to blow out her candles! She said she wished for more kitties!! (so not happening) We had cake and everyone made ice cream sundaes. I bought a lot of yummy toppings. Hannah finished the evening off by opening her presents! We bought her a new golf club set and some new balls. She has been wanting her own since her brothers got theirs for their birthdays last year. She received lots of great gifts, books,a Jonas Brothers poster, a barbie, swim suit cover up, money and more pink and purple golf balls! Hannah had 3 of her cousins spend the night. They had so much fun singing karaoke, putting on makeup, dancing and staring at her new Jonas Brothers poster! It was a great evening with family and friends. I can't believe she will be 9 years old on Thursday!

Another year older!!

Well I turn 33 today. It's amazing how fast the years fly by when you get older. I don't mind turning older. My mom asked me yesterday if I was excited to be 33. I told her that it's good, it means I am still alive and I am hoping to have many more birthdays to come! I remember when my mom turned 40. We had a surprise party for her. I must have been about 8 years old and thought my mom was so old at 40!! Sorry mom. Now I am 7 years from 40. I am changing my opinion on that one. 40 is the new 20!! Anyways as usual it is very cold on my birthday. It says it is -11 on my computer. Brrrrr I like winter but this is a little crazy. At least I am not sick. It seems like every birthday when I was younger I had a horrible cold. So I am very happy and blessed to be having another birthday. You have to stay positive about being old!!

James' Birthday Party

Wow, we have had a very busy week. I will start with last weekend. We celebrated James' 10th birthday on Saturday night. We had a full house and ate pizza and bread sticks. James birthday meal choice was pizza from Little Ceaser's. I baked a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and James decorated it with his John Deere Tractors and farm animals. It looked cute. He loved his gifts. It was a nice night at home with our extended families. Everyone kept saying " I can't believe he is already 10!" My baby is 10! WOW

Happy 10th Birthday James!

Wow. I can't believe he is 10 already. As I was going to bed last night I was thinking about going into labor for him and how quickly he was born. Time sures flies. Last night he said to me " this will be the last day I am a single digit number." He has grown from a cute chubby baby boy into a handsome young man. Have a great birthday James and know that we all love you very much.
