In honor of my upcoming trip to the UP this weekend to snowmobile! (and getaway with my hubby alone)This is an almost Wordless Wednesday!
These are some of my favorite photos I took while Snowmobiling in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in January of 2007! The UP is beautiful any time of the year, but I love exploring it on a snowmobile!

This is a frozen waterfall that we had to hike to see. It was about a mile round trip in the snow with all of our snowmobile gear on! What a work out!

Thanks! I can't wait. =)
What beautiful pictures of the UP! I've never been there in the winter-I can imagine the snowmobile would be the easiest way to get around-lol! Have a great trip!
Krisite, It really is! lol You can pretty much go anywhere with a snowmbobile!
Truly gorgeous! I know you're going to have a wonderful time!
PS. Where in MI are you? Anywhere near me? I'm in SW.
I am over near Lansing. Actually located between Lansing and Jackson. So not to far away from you. Maybe we could meet up sometime for lunch! =)
Oh my goodness - how beautiful! I grew up in Canada and we used to love snowmobiling. These pictures totally remind me of my childhood.
I love the frozen river picture
